Vice President, SDCAA

About

Ms. Ren graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. Before law school, she worked in the food and biotech industry and has a Master of Science degree in life science.

Her practice spans business litigation, business transactions, intellectual property protection and litigation, IP licensing, regulatory compliance for dietary supplements and consumer products, and advertising law. She takes pride in standing alongside her clients, understanding their businesses and needs, and guiding them through complex legal challenges with practical, results-driven advice.

Ms. Ren has experience working in one of the largest law firms in the nation, where she represented both Fortune 500 and startups in various high-stake commercial and IP litigation matters and transactions. She had helped many clients successfully enforce their IP rights against competitors selling counterfeit, knockoff, or infringing products.  Additionally, she served as “outside general counsel” for her small to mid-size business clients. She helped them with their various legal needs. With her science background and research experience in an FDA laboratory, she particularly enjoys working with her clients regarding the FDA, FTC, and EPA regulatory compliance matters.

An active member of the San Diego Chinese Attorneys Association since law school, Ms. Ren is passionate about giving back to the community through her legal expertise.

Outside of work, she loves watching her school-age children play different kinds of sports. Fun fact: Ms. Ren is a big theme park fan. You can ask her where she had her wedding. (Hint: Mickey and Minnie were her wedding guests!)
