圣地亚哥华人律师协会受邀出席“2026 APIAC 国际仲裁月·美国站”，共话跨境争议解决新机遇
On July 9, 2026, the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (APIAC) US Arbitration Center successfully hosted the U.S. Session of the 2026 APIAC International Arbitration Month in Irvine, California. The San Diego Chinese Attorneys Association (SDCAA) was invited to actively participate in the prestigious event, with SDCAA President Zhiming Wang and Secretary-General Qin Li attending as special guests.
2026年7月9日，由亚太国际仲裁院（APIAC）美国仲裁中心主办的“2026 APIAC 国际仲裁月·美国站”活动在美国加州尔湾（Irvine）成功举办。圣地亚哥华人律师协会（SDCAA）受邀深度参与本次盛会，会长王志明律师、秘书长李钦律师等作为特邀嘉宾应邀出席。
A highly anticipated appointment ceremony for new arbitrators was held during the event, during which Co-President Martin Ma presented official certificates of appointment. Notably, Junqiao Xiao and Chuan He were formally appointed and recognized as new APIAC arbitrators. This milestone not only reflects international recognition of their outstanding professional competence but also highlights the growing prominence and expertise of Chinese-American legal community, represented by SDCAA, in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution.
活动现场举行了备受瞩目的新任仲裁员证书颁发仪式，由 APIAC 联席主席马占军向到场的新聘仲裁员颁发聘书。其中，肖俊俏律师、何川律师正式获聘并接受表彰，荣任新一届 APIAC 仲裁员。这不仅是对他们个人卓越专业能力的国际化认可，也进一步彰显了以 SDCAA 为代表的华人律师群体在国际仲裁与跨境争议解决领域日益增长的专业力量。
Following the opening remarks, SDCAA President Zhiming Wang delivered a keynote speech drawing upon his extensive practice in Southern California. President Wang observed that as China-U.S. trade and investment continue to deepen, cross-border commercial disputes are becoming increasingly complex. Against this backdrop, arbitration—characterized by its neutrality, flexibility, and cross-border enforceability—has emerged as a mainstay for resolving international commercial disputes. He emphasized that the establishment of the APIAC US Arbitration Center is highly timely and critical, offering local businesses a more professional, efficient, and accessible alternative for managing intricate transnational commercial conflicts.

During the subsequent panel sessions, prominent experts delivered comprehensive and in-depth presentations on cutting-edge practices in international commercial arbitration. The discussions meticulously analyzed pivotal topics, including the practical imperatives of asset preservation across multiple jurisdictions, the procedural variations between Chinese and U.S. commercial arbitration regarding discovery and interim measures, the judicial standards and procedural design essentials for enforcing arbitration agreements under California courts, and the strategic upgrading of dispute resolution clauses into comprehensive “cross-border dispute management plans”.

The event concluded successfully in a warm and collaborative atmosphere. During the networking session, SDCAA representatives, including President Zhiming Wang and Secretary-General Qin Li, engaged in direct exchanges with legal practitioners, arbitrators, and scholars from both China and the United States to explore future opportunities for institutional innovation and cross-border legal services.
